Ti-Shu | 笑嗷江湖
A game made in 48 hours for the 2024 Global Game Jam. Joy-Cons Controls recommended, keyboard supported.
About
Ti-Shu is a two-player combat game whose core objective is to make your opponent laugh by tickling their 'tickle spots.' It fits the "Make You Laugh" theme perfectly as the essence of the game is about creating laughter through humorous sound effects and the playful act of tickling. We aim to convey the value of joy and relaxation, encouraging players to find moments of fun and unwind in their daily lives. The choice of a traditional Chinese martial arts style adds a unique cultural element and artistic flair, blending the classic charm of martial arts with contemporary gaming concepts, and providing a novel yet culturally rich gaming experience.
Victory Through Laughter:
Your mission is to reach and tickle all three of your opponent's tickle spots. Succeed in this, and you'll be crowned the ultimate Tickle Champion!
How to make them Laugh:
Joy-Con:
Hold Your Joy-Con: Grab your Joy-Con and hold it vertically, like a true tickle master.
Move the Paw: The cat paw will automatically toward the opponent. Gently move your arm vertically. This motion controls the cat paw up and down on the screen, guiding it toward your opponent's tickle spots. Pull your arm back to retreat.
Grab and Tickle: Once you've reached one of your opponent's tickle spots, it's time to shake things up! Shake your Joy-Con to tickle your opponent and hear them giggle.
Keyboard:
Move the Paw: W and S keys for Player 1 and the up and down arrow keys to move the cat paws vertically. Shift to retreat.
Grab and Tickle: press the W and S keys for player 1 and the up and down arrow keys for player 2 to tickle.
